The coronavirus vaccine developed by Oxford University protects 70% of people but when the dose was adjusted offers up to 90% protection, the lead investigator Professor Andrew Pollard has told BBC News.
Two other vaccines have been developed against Covid-19, but the Oxford jab is cheaper and easier to store.
